The Town House is a Victorian house and is accessed directly from the pavement via a three inch step which leads through an unlocked external door into a small hallway with a locked internal door with a door bell on the left hand side.
Inside the property a narrow hallway leads to the dining room on the right and a narrow, steep staircase with a 90 degree turn at the top. Stairwells are illuminated and handrails are fitted. There are 14 steps up to the first floor bedrooms and another 13 steps to the second floor bedrooms.
All guest bedrooms are on the first or second floor, there are no ground floor bedrooms and there is no lift available. All our bathrooms are compact and are fitted with standard sized shower cubicles which are accessed via an eight inch step through a sliding or swing door. None of our rooms have baths. Most of the furniture in the property is unfixed and can be moved to create extra space if needed.
Fire alarms are audible only and guests with specific requirements should discuss this with Julie and Mark at their earliest convenience to ensure that mutually satisfactory procedures can be put in place in the event of an emergency.
Special dietary requirements can be catered for with appropriate notice being given, preferably at booking.
Assistance dogs are welcome.
Assistance with luggage is always available.
Check in time is 2pm and check out time is 10.30am but these can be flexible with prior notice.
